The open, interconnected cell structure of the wood wool matrix naturally dissipates sound energy, achieving acoustic absorption ratings up to NRC 0.90 depending on system depth and insulation backing. Beyond acoustics, the mineral-infused core provides inherent moisture regulation by absorbing and releasing ambient vapour to stabilise indoor relative humidity. It exhibits extreme resistance to microbial growth, rot, and high humidity up to RH90% across temperature cycles from 5°C to 40°C. Possessing high impact resistance, the panels are physically robust enough for high-traffic or athletic installations like gymnasiums and sports halls.
