Plus Architecture has promoted three senior team members from their Brisbane and Gold Coast studios, with the practice currently working on dozens of projects in the sunshine state.

Founding Brisbane studio member Rebecca Wright (pictured left) has been elevated to the role of Principal, while Chrisney Formosa (pictured middle) and Marcel Pradella (pictured right) have been promoted to Senior Associate. Plus has evolved its operations in Queensland to accommodate a range of services, as well as a wide range of project typologies and scales across multiple sectors.

Wright has forged an admirable architectural career in over 25 years at Plus and has been instrumental in the nationwide growth of the practice.

Since joining Plus in 2016, Formosa is already the practice’s Head of Design in Queensland and is responsible for the largest portfolio of projects in the Queensland studio.

Pradella is based on the Gold Coast, and is at the forefront of Plus’ success in the region. Having joined the Plus practice in 2020, Marcel specialises in the design and delivery of medium to large scale projects, predominantly located across Queensland’s coastline.

“In Queensland, Plus has earned a reputation for finesse, quality and innovative design, which is fast solidifying our studios as the architecture firm of choice – particularly in high end residential properties across the coastline,” says Plus Architecture Director Danny Juric.

“It’s the talent of my team that is driving our local success, with clients being able to trust in the creativity, passion and thoughtfulness of our studios’ design and management.

“We are proud of our people, and proud to be able to grow careers. Plus Architecture is a company that both attracts and retains world-class creatives, particularly in this burgeoning pocket of Queensland.”

The new appointments shore up Plus’ commitment to success in the decades to come as a leading-edge integrated design practice.
