According to Mauriello: “I am acutely aware that such recognition is not due to my efforts alone. Far from it. Family, friends, business partners, colleagues and those who initiated and supported my nomination share in this award, and I thank them all. A special thank you to my husband, Nattapat (Pom) Mauriello, for his unwavering support and encouragement.”
“Also, my parents, who toiled endlessly to provide to me the opportunities they never had. I have been, and remain, passionate about the Australia Thailand relationship. I believe Australia gave me the foundations needed, while Thailand provided the opportunity to grow. It is with an immense feeling of gratitude to both, that I commit to continue my efforts to help bring our peoples closer together.”
