WAF 2018 sees a record 53 shortlisted Australian entries

    Branko Miletic

The World Architecture Festival (WAF) awards are globally recognised by architects and clients alike and are judged by renowned industry experts from across the world.

This year, they will be held in Amsterdam from November 28-30.

While just becoming a WAF finalist is a real achievement and proves that your practice is amongst the very best in the industry, it is interesting that in 2018, there are 53 Australian shortlisted finalists across all the 33 categories on offer.

The WAF awards generate more than 700 pieces of coverage in over 40 countries each year and this year, WAF will again be live streaming presentations, interviews and winners announcements live from the festival on the WAF website and through their global media partners across the globe.

That means that in terms of WAF, that not only is 2018 the biggest and most salubrious year to date for Australian architectural firms, but it will also be the most exposed in terms of media coverage.

So in light of that, below is the full list of all 53 Australian shortlisted WAF awards entries for 2018.
