Towering 40 metres above the beach, The Pole House in Fairhaven, Australia has had a stylish makeover thanks to F2 Architecture.

The house has been a landmark of the great Ocean Road for over 36 years, but was demolished early last year to make way for a new steel and glass structure.

The new building features revamped interiors with floor-to-ceiling retracting windows providing sweeping views from Aireys Inlet to Lorne.

Outside, the long entrance walkway has been renovated with glass balustrades, making it seem like your suspended in the air as you move towards the house.

The supporting steel pole continues up through the centre of the home, concealed by a feature wall clad with timber.

The owners of the Fairhaven Pole House are sharing the home’s new look and stunning views and are currently renting it out for holiday stays.
