The upcoming CPD Live session Designing High-Performance Building Envelopes – From Interior Walls to Facades examines why a more integrated, whole-of-wall approach can produce better outcomes.

Presented by CSR Rondo, the session will break down the structural and non-structural components that make up external wall systems and examine how their interaction influences overall building performance.

Architects and specifiers will explore considerations including thermal performance, acoustics, condensation, permeability, weatherproofing, structural requirements and NCC compliance, alongside the practical challenges of coordinating products and systems from multiple suppliers.

The session will also demonstrate how complete wall assemblies can help reconcile compliance requirements with buildability and design intent.
