Each building sector presents its own set of performance requirements, design considerations, regulatory demands, and construction challenges. Wall and ceiling systems play a critical role in delivering the required outcomes while delivering safe, comfortable and compliant living environments.

Factors such as fire resistance, acoustic performance, durability, moisture management and thermal efficiency all influence system selection. Understanding these requirements is essential to specifying solutions that achieve compliance while supporting an efficient project delivery.

“To simplify and de-risk the specification process for the multi-residential sector, we have provided a curated selection of the wall and ceiling systems most commonly required for these projects,” explains Adam Biernat, Siniat’s Product & Innovation Manager.

“Our technical manual Blueprint and suite of system selector tools are very comprehensive. However, we can now offer a selection of compliant systems tailored specifically to multi-residential applications to help specifiers and builders save valuable time while providing confidence that NCC requirements have been considered from the outset,” says Adam.

Working closely with their technical team, Siniat identified the wall and ceiling systems most commonly specified in multi-residential developments and consolidated them into an easy-to-navigate resource.

The result is a dedicated multi-residential resource page on the Siniat website, featuring an interactive building model that links directly to relevant wall and ceiling systems. Users can also access BIM files and download both detailed and condensed application guides to support project planning and specification.

“This new resource is another demonstration of our promise that Siniat is The One. While Siniat is recognised for its quality and compliant plasterboard and metal framing systems, our value extends far beyond product supply. We believe the best project outcomes are achieved when we provide expert guidance and technical support at every stage, from specification through to handover,” says Adam.
