Equipment hire specialist Kennards Hire Lift & Shift supplied their extensive range of conveyor belts to Treescape Australia during a project being executed for a luxurious resort on the Gold Coast.

The resort had hired Treescape Australia to remove, replace and replant palm trees in planter boxes, which also required re-waterproofing. Treescape Australia hired conveyor belts from Kennards Hire Lift & Shift to complete the project.

Treescape Australia was tasked with the enormous job of moving 190 tonnes of soil and palm trees over a distance; the conveyor belts needed to be assembled to travel over the crystal clear swimming pool, which only added to the complexity of the project. Kennards Hire Lift & Shift supplied a number of conveyor belts as well as the scaffolding required to get the job done.

Daniel Oaten, Senior Arborist with Treescape Australia explained that they hired just about every conveyor belt Kennards Hire Lift & Shift had in Queensland, stretching over a distance of about 120 metres from the planter box to the truck. Daniel recalled that the conveyors went over the sea wall, across the pool, under the walkway, alongside another sea wall and then into the truck.
