The Victorian Government is calling on Victoria’s most innovative designers, architects and design-led enterprises to showcase their leadership in creative problem-solving and innovation, with entries now open for the 2025 Victorian Premier’s Design Awards.

The 29th edition of the Awards will celebrate the powerful role of design in transforming businesses, industries and communities – from building smarter infrastructure and healthcare products and systems, to enhancing brand experiences and digital platforms.

The Victorian Premier’s Design Awards honour the outstanding achievements of Victoria’s designers, creatives, and businesses, while providing a prestigious platform to showcase the State’s most impactful and innovative design work.

Reflecting the strength and diversity of Victoria’s world-class design capability, entries are accepted across eight key categories from architectural and product design to communication, digital and fashion design, and more.

Entry to the Awards is free and open to Victorian-based businesses, designers, studios, architects and tertiary students. Winners will be announced in November 2025 at the Victorian Premier’s Design Awards Ceremony.

Entries close Friday 11 July 2025.

Entering the Awards

The Awards are free to enter for eligible Victorian designers, architects and businesses. To be eligible, designers and architects must be based in Victoria and the majority of the design work on a project must have been done in Victoria.

Entries are judged by a panel of national and international design experts representing the diverse range of design disciplines showcased by the Awards.
