Soundstyle™ by Woven Image, a leader in sustainable, design-led acoustic finishes and textiles, offers an innovative and environmentally responsible solution to elevate acoustic comfort in modern homes.

As residential design continues to favour open plan layouts and hard finishes, noise challenges in these spaces can reduce comfort, negatively impacting everyday life, with recent studies showing that ongoing exposure to household noise can significantly affect wellbeing, attention and stress levels[1].

“Open plan layouts are well known for allowing noise to transfer easily between zones, with sound amplifying, creating unwanted echoes,” says Renee McGinty, General Manager Marketing, CSR. “If households are trying to juggle a busy family, a work-from-home scenario or multi-generational living, effective acoustic management ensures quieter, more comfortable interiors.”

Soundstyle was developed as an option to counterbalance the noise challenges of modern designed homes to bring acoustic comfort and visual appeal. Manufactured in Australia from 100% PET (60% post-consumer recycled), giving new life to recycled materials, Soundstyle wall panels are uniquely engineered to not only reduce sound reverberation but also collectively transform spaces through design-led options that are easy to install and integrate, to create a calmer home environment with strong visual impact.

Lightweight and precision cut for clean lines and a refined finish, the collection is available in three modern designs and eight timeless, neutral tones in a large format panel (2700mm (H) x 1150mm (W) and 10mm thick), and is suitable for use across living rooms, bedrooms, offices and media zones, reducing echo and unwanted noise by 21%.

With flexibility for full or half-wall application, Soundstyle panels can be easily installed directly to plasterboard, masonry or fibre-cement walls.
