Since 2026 is the new 2016, let's rewind and celebrate a decade of design that still resonates today.

It’s crazy to think how far Sculptform has come in these last ten years. From the projects you see here to the many we’ve taken on since, we’ve grown as a company, refined how we work with architects, and expanded what we can offer. These projects are more than just a mark in time. They show how thoughtful material choices and detailing can elevate architecture to endure the test of time.

1. Australian Embassy, Bangkok | BVN Architecture

This embassy embodies a layered response to cultural context and climate, where sculptural timber creates place and presence, bringing warmth to civic interiors while reinforcing spatial flow and calm. This project was recognised on the world stage for excellence in civic and cultural design.

2. Woollahra Library, Double Bay | BVN Architecture

Woollahra Library uses pale timber battens to define a bright, welcoming ceiling that visually lifts the space and supports a sense of openness. Integrating biophilic design, this project remains a standout for how materiality enhances user experience.

3. ICC Sydney Convention Centre | Hassell + Populous

At a scale few other projects can rival, this convention centre features custom timber battens in the lobby that create dynamic surfaces reacting with movement and light, while powdercoated aluminium battens on the ceilings provide a refined backdrop to the civic interior.

4. Scotch College, Sir Zelman Cowen Centre for Science | Cox Architecture

A sweeping atrium becomes a study in vertical movement. Curved White Oak battens span between floors, drawing the eye upward and reinforcing the centre’s role as a place for curiosity and discovery. The custom batten system brings texture and warmth to a highly public educational space; the design was recognised internationally for its architectural ambition.

Good design ages well. These projects are a reminder that when the fundamentals are right, time does the rest.
