Sea World Resort, Australia’s only theme park resort, offers a unique blend of fun, adventure, and relaxation for the whole family. Located on the picturesque Gold Coast, this iconic destination is as much about comfort as it is about creating unforgettable memories. When it came to their recent fitout, the goal was clear: to capture the serene beauty of the ocean within the interiors, transforming spaces into immersive experiences.

A brief inspired by nature

Carmody Studio, known for their innovative approach to interior architecture, bespoke joinery, and FF&E procurement, led the design for this project. Their vision was to emulate the journey of the ocean, starting from the deep blue waves, flowing into greens and light blues, and finishing with sandy tones as the carpet transitions to the hard flooring. The result? A seamless visual narrative that echoes the tranquil beauty of Sea World Resort’s surroundings.

Designer Jet® carpet: This cutting-edge technology allowed the creation of bespoke designs with precision and flexibility, delivering on the exact colour gradation and patterns inspired by the ocean. With fast lead times and unparalleled design capabilities, Designer Jet® was the ideal choice for this tailored fitout.

Amor Classic laminate flooring: For areas where hard flooring was required, our Amor Classic range provided a durable, easy-to-maintain solution. With its stunning sandy tones, this laminate harmonised perfectly with the design narrative, blending functionality with aesthetics.
