Open lobby and threshold integration: 100mm architectural grates

Open lobbies on each level emphasise indoor-outdoor flow. Given the challenging coastal environment and the occasional unpredictable weather on the NSW south coast, Architectural (AR) style grates were selected for exposed areas because of their exceptional flow rates, durability and corrosion resistance.

Bathroom areas: 100mm tile insert grates

For a sleek integration in the bathroom areas, tile insert grates were chosen to manage water efficiently, while aesthetically integrating with the large format tiles selected. In the smaller ensuites, a perpendicular shower screen support, and pan support were used as additional customisations to allow fixtures to be supported on top of a single channel, which runs wall-to-wall.

This clever layout helps to maximise the functional space in the room and minimise the number of waterproofing penetrations required.
