Alspec’s Carinya awning frames meet challenging brief at Brabham display home

To ensure a seamless transition from the entryway to the living spaces, Glassco Metro was tasked with retrofitting double-glazed frames, uniquely pinned to a single beam to prevent sagging. They recommended Alspec's 92mm Carinya awning frame, designed to accommodate tall and wide openings, making it ideal for the project.

Flooded with glorious natural lighting from every angle, The Belvedere display home in Brabham, Western Australia, is a testament to clean lines and utter modernity.

Featuring four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a home theatre room and an open-plan layout, the home includes soaring floor-to-ceiling windows that populate the main areas and fill the home with sunshine.

To create a continuous flow from the entry to the living spaces, a local fabricator, Glassco Metro, was called in to install double-glazed frames throughout the living area.

But there was one catch! The frames needed to be retrofitted and pinned to just one beam to prevent sagging across the head of the door.

Undeterred, Glassco Metro suggested the 92mm Carinya awning frame from the Alspec range. The awning frame is cleverly engineered to span tall and wide openings, making it the perfect choice for all fixed frames.
