Woodgrain finish MDF grooved panels deliver architect’s vision at Canterbury League Club

A fantastic example of our MDF grooved panels was beautifully showcased at the Canterbury League Club.

We recommended 8mm Key Geo panels with woodgrain finish, shaped and nested into customer-supplied material to mirror the architect’s design intent. The panels had rebates to the edges and grooves to the face, giving the appearance of a 5mm wide express joint.

This design approach reduced on-site work for the installers. Our specification allowed the use of larger sheets, minimising wastage and the number of joins needing to be sealed.

Shout out to Shuria and Kenny Guan, who led the project from the start. On-site meetings ensured the ceiling, raked in both directions, aligned perfectly with the grooves, showcasing the contours.
