Thermogroup has released a new dual control thermostat for electric underfloor heating systems featuring two relays with independent control.

The new Thermotouch 4.3dC Dual Controller by Thermogroup is designed to control underfloor heating as well as an additional appliance such as a towel rail or mirror demister. Incorporating two relays that can be independently controlled, the new dual control Thermotouch thermostat presents the ideal solution for home heating applications.

Key features of Thermotouch 4.3dC dual control thermostats include choice of two colours - Ice white and Satin black with 8 display colour options; flexibility to use the device in landscape or portrait mode for further personalisation; and simple copy and paste function for the homeowner’s heating schedule and 5 heating modes.

Eco Mode

This mode maintains a low energy eco temperature to help save on energy bills, while keeping the chill off the cold floor.

Comfort Mode

This heating mode maintains a higher temperature outside of the home’s heating schedule. An added boost function will put the thermostat into an eco comfort mode for the selected time (1, 2 or 4 hours), and then automatically switch back to the programmed schedule.

Manual Mode

Any temperature can be manually selected within the set limits of the thermostat, with the selected temperature maintained until it’s changed or switched to a different heating mode.

Schedule Mode

The Thermotouch will adjust the temperature of the underfloor heating system according to the pre-set heating schedule. The boost function can be used to manually adjust the temperature using the up and down arrows.

Holiday Mode

This is a frost protection setting for those days when the occupants are away from home. If a low holiday temperature is pre-set, Thermotouch will keep the heating off until the floor temperature drops below the set temperature.
