“Our commitment to research was initially based on seed capital for research projects; however over the years this has evolved into a comprehensive design, client focused and cultural philosophy that is at the forefront of our next generation global studio vision,” continued Ross.

The firm’s research driven design methodology includes using a tailored design portal for each project to harness knowledge and connect across borders; creating a global intranet community; investing in industry based knowledge forums; and communicating pertinent thought leadership to clients and peers.

“As a global design firm we are inspired to challenge convention and we use the rigour of research and our evolving project knowledge to create intelligent bespoke designs; and as such we are extremely humbled to be recognised for how we achieve these outcomes,” said Donaldson.
