The Green Building Council Australia is organising a site tour of K1 Kingsgate in Brisbane which recently received a 6 Star Green Star - Office Design v3 building and 6 Star Green Star - Interiors Pilot rating by the GBCA.
The 5748sqm premium office space in Fortitude Valley targeted the maximum 10 Green Star points available for innovation with a host of energy-saving, environment-friendly features and fixtures that make it a standout site in the sustainable built environment.
Going above and beyond the bare minimum requirements, K1 Kingsgate, which was fitted out by Lendlease, provided four times the planting requirements for Green Star while also improving access to fresh air by 50 per cent above the minimum.
The tour will offer participants the chance to learn from its commitment to exceeding Green Star goals. Lendlease representatives at the site will provide information about Kingsgate's key features.
