National design firm Cottee Parker Architects has appointed Naveen Dath as an equity director of the company, and Meg White and Dee Passenger to the role of Associates. All three architects have been promoted to more senior roles in recognition of their contribution to the growth of the practice.

Cottee Parker Managing Director, Mathew Caswell said the appointments are not only fitting recognition for the three but will also help focus the company as it continues to deliver projects across Australia’s cities.

Cottee Parker has become the architect of choice for the Far East Consortium (FEC) as it wolls out projects in Australian cities with the Elizabeth Quay development in Perth, and the Upper West Side and 250 Spencer St projects in Melbourne. FEC has also moved into the Brisbane market as part of the Destination Brisbane Consortium, with Cottee Parker designing the Consortium’s proposal for the Queens Wharf Casino precinct.

Naveen Dath joined Cottee Parker in 2008 after 20 years in Asia and the Middle East, specialising in the design and delivery of landmark projects and tall buildings. The Highgate, a multi-residential development overlooking the Southbank precinct and the Brisbane CBD, was one of his recent projects with Cottee Parker. He is also involved in the Destination Brisbane Consortium’s bid for the Queens Wharf project as the Lead Designer of the integrated resort development.

She has been responsible for town planning liaison and documentation as well as overseeing the marketing for all four stages of the development. Meg’s responsibilities also included the sketch design and resolution of the façades as well as materials and finishes selection throughout the project.
