The NSW Architects Registration Board is organising the Complaints and Conduct Forum to provide greater clarity on the Board’s complaints process.

Through a series of presentations followed by a panel discussion, the Complaints and Conduct Forum will offer a platform for participants to get insights from inside the Board’s complaints and prosecution process, learn more about the Architects Act, understand the Board’s role in compliance and enforcement, and pick up strategies to avoid complaints in the first place.

The Board also plans to launch a new mediation pathway that promises to quickly resolve issues between homeowners and their architects, and provide an alternative to lodging a complaint.

Supported by Hall & Wilcox, the Complaints and Conduct Forum will feature Matt Curll, Legal Member; Natalise Sullivan, Planned Cover; Dr Philip Briggs, Chair, Senior Counsellor; and Robyn Bailey, NSW ARB Mediator.

The Complaints and Conduct Forum will be held at The Crypt, St Patrick's Church, 141 Harrington Street, The Rocks, NSW 2000 on Thursday, November 10, 2016, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM AEDT.
