    Street artists create 4m tall artwork live at Weylandts

    Rone aka Tyrone Wright, a famous street artist created his latest masterpiece live in the Weylandts Melbourne showroom recently.

    Working on the 4-metre tall canvas in the presence of excited fans and onlookers, Rone created the ‘African Queen’ over three days; the finished painting is now proudly on display at the Weylandts showroom located at 200 Gipps Street, Abbotsford.

    Rone’s most ambitious artwork till date is a 20-metre tall façade of a building along Melbourne’s iconic Collins Street that he recently painted for Rue & Co.

    A well-known name in the Melbourne street art scene, Rone has been displaying his artistic talents all over his adopted city as well as around the world too.

    South Africa’s leading furniture and lifestyle retailer, Weylandts recently launched their first Australian store, and tenth worldwide, in Abbotsford, Melbourne last November, offering a globally-curated mix of products, known predominantly for their contemporary quality designs sourced from every corner of the world.
