Australian multi-disciplinary design practice, Hayball announces the appointment of David Tordoff as Studio Director of its Sydney office.

Tordoff brings to the table extensive experience in small and large firms across Australia and the UK, predominantly in the areas of multi-unit residential and education, in addition to the hospitality and commercial sectors.

Hayball explains that Tordoff’s extensive experience combined with attention to detail as well as the ability to blend quality creative design with commercial imperatives makes him a dynamic force in the architecture industry. He has several awards to his credit including the AIA Sulman Medal for public architecture and multiple UDIA awards in addition to globally joining the ranks of architects shortlisted for the World Architecture Awards.

Managing Director Tom Jordan welcomed the addition of Tordoff’s architectural expertise and strong interpersonal skills to Hayball’s Sydney practice. Observing that David brought a fresh perspective and strong business knowledge to the Hayball team, he said the new architect was also committed to high standards of architectural practice and design excellence, complementing Hayball’s vision moving forward.

Tordoff looks forward to the challenges of his new role at Hayball as well as the opportunity to grow the team and brand in Sydney, with the support of Hayball Melbourne.
