The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) has announced the winners of the 2018 Queensland Architecture Awards.

Six projects were awarded the highest honour, the Award of Excellence, with nineteen others receiving Landscape Architecture Awards, and three receiving the new Regional Achievement Award.

According to the jury, while some awarded projects benefitted from generous budgets, many others were able to achieve impressive results with a small budget. The jury saw this as evidence of the value of creative landscape architecture and committed clients, with these projects demonstrating that high quality outdoor spaces can and should be available to all.
