Often made from recycled or renewable resources, they minimise environmental impact by reducing energy consumption, water usage, and waste production. From wood and concrete to glass, steel, and insulation, green materials offer a wide range of applications for foundations, walls, roofs, windows, and more.

Their impact is undeniable. Using wood instead of concrete can cut greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50 percent. Green building materials also improve air quality, reduce noise pollution, and translate into long-term cost savings through lower energy, water, and maintenance expenses.

Capral's LocAl Lower Carbon Aluminium (pictured) remains a groundbreaking achievement, setting the precedent for sustainable construction and is the reigning Green Building Materials champion. This innovative product, now standard for all Capral's locally extruded window and door systems, significantly reduces embodied carbon in buildings.

This year, we're proud to partner with Cosentino, a company leading the way in sustainable practices within the construction materials sector. Cosentino prioritises responsible sourcing of raw materials, utilises renewable energy sources in production, and implements eco-efficient water management systems.
