Case study: Ercildoune Historical Homestead, Melbourne

Located in Melbourne’s suburbs, Ercildoune homestead is a former farming property dating back to 1850.The homestead built in 1888 is a well-preserved example of a Victorian Italianate villa and is one of a small number of surviving farmhouses.

In March 2023 the restored homestead and surrounding landscape were opened by council as a valuable community space for locals to come together to connect, belong, learn and play.

To meet the council’s needs the most efficient option was for them to partner with a single source supplier of washroom accessories and toilet partitions for the community centre.
