With operations in North America, UK, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong – this news is set to further strengthen Lorient’s global position.

The Lorient brand is well established and respected in Australia, having had a presence there since 1986. Now operating out of new premises, Lorient is proud to be bringing its full range of high quality acoustic, smoke and fire sealing systems to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

With an exceptional knowledge of Australian Standards, as well as international building codes, the technical and commercial team provides unparalleled support. Access to Lorient’s technical and testing facilities means Australian customers benefit from opportunities to put new product development ideas to the test, before committing to often expensive external test programmes.

The new company Lorient Pty Ltd is located close to Sydney and will initially act as a sales and warehousing operation. Lorient has joined forces with a well-respected industry professional to run Lorient Pty Ltd – Kam Man Yee. Kam has a wealth of product knowledge and experience, having been at the helm of the Group’s Hong Kong business Lorient Pacific for many years.

2014 sees the 35 year anniversary for the Lorient Group, which has, during that time, created a considerable amount of intellectual property; in its brands, in its product designs, patents and test certification. Lorient Pty Ltd becomes the only authorised distributor of Lorient products in the region and it is has full and unlimited access to utilise all IP, including all Lorient product test certification .
