In late 2020, a devastating fire damaged 90% of Puckapunyal Primary School in Central Victoria, forcing a complete rebuild. With a highly transient military population and a strong focus on student wellbeing, the brief demanded learning spaces that balanced academic achievement, resilience, and flexibility.

Foreground Architects created a modern yet practical school layout with clustered classrooms that adapt to different teaching modes. To support the science and art rooms, they selected our Grain rubber flooring for its natural look, low-maintenance durability, and excellent sound-absorbing qualities. The result: a versatile environment that supports both targeted learning and larger gatherings.
