Eziduct manufactured a large diameter, heavy duty galvanised steel ducting system for an industrial dust extraction project.

The system was installed, designed and commissioned by Polex Environmental Engineering for an Australian aluminium smelter.

Polex Environmental Engineering, a company that provides complete engineered environmental systems to Australia’s industry had Ezi-Duct manufacture heavy duty galvanised steel ducting in 3.0mm to 1.6mm galvanised steel material.

The ducting was fully welded and joined together with flanges.

The steel ducting was up to 1250mm in diameter and included many specialised transitions.

The installation was designed for the dust extraction of aluminium oxide.

Polex Environmental Engineering helped the aluminium smelter save costs by refurbishing an old dust collector with new filters as well as valves and reused the existing ductwork that was still serviceable.
