Glen Waverley Anglican Church, a cornerstone of the local community, had lost some of its original charm over time. Recognising the need to refresh its appearance, the church embarked on a restoration project in partnership with commercial repaint and maintenance experts, Higgins Coatings, with Haymes Paint providing the essential products and tailored project support for the transformation.

The project involved a thorough renovation, covering both the exterior and interior of the church. From the imposing bell tower to the serene chapel, every surface was carefully attended to.

A crucial element of the restoration was the selection of paint products capable of withstanding the elements and preserving the church's historic charm. For the exposed bell tower, Haymes Paint Ultra Premium Exterior Solashield in the dignified hue of Element was chosen. This high-performance paint not only enhances the tower's appearance but also provides long-lasting protection against the elements, ensuring its durability for years to come.

Inside the church, our Ultra Premium Expressions Interior low sheen paint in the soft shade of Nearly White 2 was applied. This choice not only brightened the interiors but also created a welcoming atmosphere, enriching the visitor experience.

The rendered walls of the church were coated with our Ultra Premium Exterior Solashield in the warm and welcoming tone of Oak Buff 2. This premium paint not only refreshed the exterior but also created a welcoming atmosphere for all to enjoy.
