A legacy of excellence in curved glass
Bent & Curved Glass (BCG), a family-owned and operated company based in Sydney, was founded by Neil Finn in 1985. Recognised as Australia’s leading authority on curved architectural glass, BCG was established with a vision to provide designers and builders with high-quality, custom-formed glass solutions that combine technical precision with aesthetic innovation.
Since founding, BCG has built a reputation for excellence in curved toughened, laminated, and annealed glass manufacturing. The company’s ongoing investment in cutting-edge technology and a highly skilled workforce has positioned it as a trusted partner for Australia's most prominent construction, infrastructure, and architectural projects. BCG is now managed by Neil's son, Mick Finn, who shared his perspective on the acquisition:
"This merger aligns with our long-term growth strategy and leverages a range of synergies. Curved glass is a highly specialised product requiring technical expertise and an unwavering commitment to quality. Cooling Brothers are the ideal partner to propel Bent & Curved Glass into the future."
Expanding national capabilities: New product synergies
The integration of Bent & Curved Glass’ specialist expertise in curved toughened, laminated, and annealed glass solutions significantly broadens Cooling Brothers’ capabilities, allowing the company to offer an unmatched range of architectural glass products and services.
Sales Director Vince Bianchini highlighted the significance of this expansion:
“Integrating curved glass into the Cooling Brothers portfolio enables us to offer the national market every commercially available glass solution, from Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The merger also unlocks exciting opportunities for innovation across complementary product lines such as decorative products including ImagInk and Digiglass – expect to see significant developments in this space.”
