Perched on a dramatic cliff with uninterrupted 360-degree views, the residence is exposed to relentless winds, salt-laden air and some of Australia's most demanding coastal conditions. Designed as a low-maintenance, off-grid home, every element was selected for durability, thermal performance and longevity. The objective was clear: create a home that will stand comfortably in its environment for decades while requiring minimal ongoing maintenance.

Constructed by Skookom Building, a builder recognised for its commitment to sustainable construction and thoughtful design, the project demonstrates how collaboration between architect, builder and specialist manufacturers can deliver exceptional outcomes. The Kömmerling window and door systems were manufactured by our authorised fabricator, Titane Windows & Doors, ensuring precision fabrication and performance suited to the project's demanding environmental conditions.
