TBA Firefly announces the release of a new passive fire protection app designed to give construction industry professionals instant access to over 13,000 fully tested and assessed NCC compliant fire stopping systems.

The new app provides a simple, yet valuable tool to users to ensure compliant installation of TBA Firefly products, generate customised passive fire protection registers, flag compliance issues and specify rectification works.

Australian construction professionals can use the new app to easily find and select the correct TBA Firefly fire stopping system for their specific wall, floor or ceiling substrate, ensuring compliance in their projects.

Fully tested and assessed

All 13,000+ systems from TBA Firefly within the app are tested in accordance with AS1530.4-2014 and assessed in accordance with AS4072.1-2005. Each system refers to specific identification numbers for their specific applications and FRLs achieved within a report from a NATA accredited testing laboratory.
These reports meet Specification A2.3 Section 2 (c) of NCC2016 Amendment 1 (including prior versions) and Schedule 5 Section 2 (c) of NCC2019 (including Amendment 1) for determination of an FRL.
