Wide Span Sheds’ buildings utilise genuine Australian BlueScope Steel exclusively, specifically high tensile steel 450-550 MPa and sheeting produced from BlueScope coil in both Zincalume and Colorbond options.

This overlapping system adds significant strengthening to the building. Additionally, Wide Span Sheds’ employs a rafter-over-column haunch system for maximum strength to the most fundamental connections in the building.

Wide Span Sheds’ employs the exclusive services of Tasmanian structural and civil engineer Andrew Matiukevitch (Black Consultants) for the compliance and certification of all buildings. Andrew is considered one of the foremost authorities on structural and civil engineering in the southern hemisphere and is accredited to certify compliance of buildings in Australia, NZ, USA, England and all European Economic Community countries.
