Tea staining occurs on stainless steel surfaces that are exposed to salty environments, and while this does not cause any structural damage to the stainless steel, it is not a pretty sight. If left untreated tea staining can result in irreversible damage to the surface and it will need to be replaced, which can be an expensive outcome. This however, will be avoided if treated early with NanoCoat Metal 2 in 1 prior to surface pitting occurring.

NanoCoat Metal 2 in 1 is an invisible, nanotechnology protective coating where the surface preparation is included with the protective solution. The coating will provide long term protection against tea staining and subsequent corrosion on all stainless steel surface finishes including brushed and polished, and its various grades, including 304 and 316 marine grade.

NanoCoat Metal 2 in 1 protective coating for stainless steel contains a slight abrasive property for the cleaning and removal of all dirt and foreign contaminants, while the protective components provide a strong chemical bond which is resistant to friction and will not crack, peel, or turn yellow after long term outdoor exposure. NanoCoat treated surfaces will repel water and remain weather protected.

Extensive field testing has demonstrated NanoCoat Metal 2 in1 coating’s ability to prevent tea staining from occurring up to four years on a new surface, and up to two years on an old surface which was cleaned and protected with NanoCoat Metal 2 in 1.
