Awnings, Blinds and Shutters by Sunteca offer the Markilux ES-X balcony and patio awning. These awnings are inspired by the classic design of the ES-1 and are available in a range of widths of up to 6.5 metres with a maximum projection of 3 metres, or available as 6 metres wide with a maximum projection of 3.5 metres.

All parts that are exposed to the weather are manufactured from brushed stainless steel.

The innovative arm technology is a new feature, which uses a bionic tendon to create a tauter cover in combination with proven material components manufactured in soil-resistant, coated aluminium and steel.

Markilux ES-X balcony and patio awnings are manufactured in semi gloss, marine-grade brushed stainless steel combined with other tried and tested materials. The torque bar is offered in powder-coated galvanised steel, ensuring optimum stability.

The bionic tendons are an innovation in aluminium folding arm technology and they guarantee optimum cover tension and enable the arms to fold without friction or noise. The awning’s folding arms and torque bar are protected by a dirt-resistant coating that is available in numerous colours, creating a fine contrast with the stainless steel. The coating protects the material from the weather and corrosion.

Markilux ES-X balcony and patio awnings can be combined with all the fabrics available in the Markilux collection. They are all manufactured with bonded seams using ultrasonic technology, ensuring a homogeneous appearance that is free of undesirable stitched seams. A valance complements the awning‘s appearance and is included within the scope of delivery.

Markilux ES-X patio and balcony awnings are equipped with a radio-controlled motor and a remote control as standard.
