National commercial law firm Holding Redlich has appointed three new partners across its Melbourne and Brisbane offices, enhancing its expertise in corporate transactions, construction and infrastructure projects, and disputes.

In Melbourne, Ben Constance has been appointed as a corporate partner while Dado Hrustanpasic joins as a construction partner with a focus on major projects and infrastructure disputes. Jonathan Usher joins the Brisbane office as a construction partner, specialising in infrastructure projects, property development and structured finance.

With more than 20 years of international experience in cross-border M&A, private equity and complex commercial transactions, Ben Constance will focus on private equity-related transactions, joint ventures and cross-border investments at Holding Redlich. He was previously with Petra Group, overseeing legal functions across a diverse portfolio spanning construction, film and media, agriculture, renewables, hospitality, technology and property, and has also worked in advisory roles across Australia, United States, Asia and the Middle East.

Dado Hrustanpasic joins the firm’s construction, infrastructure & projects team, bringing nearly 15 years of experience in major projects and infrastructure litigation and arbitration, most recently at Australia’s largest civil infrastructure contractor.

With dual qualifications in law and civil engineering, he has extensive experience managing complex, technical disputes involving engineering, construction and technology issues, with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Jonathan Usher has more than 21 years of specialised experience in the infrastructure and construction sectors advising on hotel, residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments, as well as roads, gas, water and power projects across Australia and the Middle East. His expertise includes drafting and advising on EPC, FIDIC, ECI and joint venture agreements, as well as major government and private sector infrastructure contracts.
