Luke Fry Architecture & Interior Design has expanded its operations into Mansfield, which is something of a homecoming for Fry himself.

Born and raised in Benalla, Fry has established family ties in Victoria's north east, with his parents and brother still residing in the region. Following 20 years of study and practice in the state capital, Fry and his immediate family will head to Mansfield, with a new studio created as a result.

From humble beginnings as a sole operator in 2014, Luke Fry Architecture & Interior Design has grown over the years, and now encompasses a practice of registered architects, interior designers and a dedicated business development manager, who have been the recipients of a suite of industry awards, including ‘Best Residential Design Australia’ and ‘Best Residential Interior Designer Victoria’ at the Building Design Awards.

Fry says the new studio will give the entire practice the opportunity to expand its horizons and create a number of refined and purposeful projects in the area.

“I’ve always loved the area and have spent a lot of time there over the years. We moved for lifestyle reasons, but the new office and projects are an unexpected bonus. Expansion into a new area has opened up possibilities, which has given the team and I new energy and excitement,” he says.

“The rural, alpine areas provide beautiful landscapes and views in which to create amazing lifestyle-driven homes. Holidays homes are always special places for the owners as they act as a retreat where fond memories are created.”

Many Luke Fry staff hold strong ties with the region, including graduate architect Amelia Smith and Practice Manager Joey Cooney, who owns a wedding venue just outside of town. Fry holds high hopes for Mount Buller, and will look to harness its potential with a number of residential, hospitality, retail and hotel projects in the works.
