Australasian design group MODE announces the appointment of Registered Landscape Architect Alayna Renata as Group Landscape Manager to oversee the firm’s urban design and landscape teams.

Peter Bertram, Principal of MODE said they looked forward to working with Alayna to grow MODE’s urban design and landscape teams across the organisation.

Alayna joined MODE in 2014 after stints with large multi-disciplinary engineering groups across Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Her experience spans urban design, master planning, visual impact assessment, cultural/ indigenous landscapes and ecological enhancement. In addition to presenting expert evidence in complex planning cases, Alayna has also co-authored papers and presented them at several highly acclaimed international conferences.

MODE’s urban design and landscape teams are now servicing architectural projects within the group, while also building up a solid base of new and existing clients with dedicated projects. With Alayna on board, MODE is now equipped with dedicated landscape planning capabilities, particularly in the areas of visual impact assessment work.
