Fluke Australia introduces a new range of infrared cameras offering premium in-field viewing with the only 5.7-inch responsive LCD touchscreen in its class.

Fluke’s TiX series infrared cameras, the TiX560 and TiX520 feature a full 180-degree articulating lens, enabling thermographers to easily navigate over, under and around objects to preview and capture images with ease.

The 5.7-inch responsive LCD touchscreen in the TiX560 and TiX520 infrared cameras is the largest in its class with 150 per cent more viewing area compared to the conventional 3.5-inch screen. Thermographers use the large screen to quickly identify issues while still in the field and also to easily edit images directly on the camera, saving time.

The new Fluke cameras are ideal for predictive maintenance, R&D, oil and gas, and utility applications where flexibility and higher resolution are essential requirements.

The SuperResolution mode in Fluke’s TiX series infrared cameras boosts resolution four times, allowing the normal 320 x 240 (76,800 pixel) resolution of the images captured to increase to 640 x 480 (307,200 pixels), and providing the thermographer even greater detail to better identify problems that might have been missed with lower resolution cameras.

Key features of Fluke’s TiX series infrared cameras include exclusive LaserSharp Auto Focus ensuring consistently in-focus images by using a built-in laser distance meter to pinpoint the target, and accurately calculate and display the distance; Fluke IR-Fusion technology with Picture-in-Picture, full visible light, and AutoBlend modes for easier identification and reporting of problems; on-board advanced analytics for users to adjust or enhance images right on the camera without additional software; and Fluke SmartView software providing a suite of advanced tools to view, optimise, annotate and analyse infrared images, and generate fully customisable professional reports.

Fluke’s TiX series infrared cameras can also be supplied with optional telephoto and wide-angle lenses to meet a wide variety of applications.
