Malvern Collective, a $450-million mixed-use development located in the affluent inner city suburb of Malvern in Melbourne’s south-east, is now complete. Designed by Jackson Clements Burrows for Kokoda Property Group, with interiors by Carr, the precinct, positioned at the high-profile junction of Glenferrie and Dandenong Roads, transforms a key urban site into one of Melbourne’s most vibrant lifestyle destinations.

Malvern Collective is Kokoda Property Group’s largest Victorian project to date, expertly tailored to meet the evolving demographics of Malvern and its neighbouring suburbs. One of the area’s most significant developments, the design-led precinct reinforces the company’s commitment to its home city alongside recent growth in Brisbane.

Malvern Collective comprises two architecturally striking towers featuring 205 residences, including the exclusive Penthouse Collection. At street level, a lively retail, dining, and wellness precinct will feature a boutique grocer, barber, cellar door, jeweller, café and fitness studio, with new laneways connecting directly to Glenferrie Road and Malvern Station.

At the heart of the development, the historic Angel of Malvern, originally opened in 1856 as The Gardiner, will return in early 2026 as a reimagined three-level hospitality venue with a public bar, courtyard beer garden, first-floor dining and a cocktail lounge above, presenting a new neighbourhood gathering place for locals to meet and celebrate.

Malvern Collective residents will enjoy a range of luxurious hotel-style amenities, including a seven-day New-York style concierge service, multiple well-appointed resident lounges, a wellness centre with hot and cold plunge, a steam room, gym, outdoor swimming pools, an outdoor terrace with a firepit and BBQ kitchen, as well as a boutique private cinema.

There’s strong interest in the apartments from local downsizers who are drawn to the spacious three- and four-bedroom residences and zero-minute lifestyle on offer, as well as young professionals.

Residents have begun moving into the apartments, with one buyer sharing how the precinct has elevated their day-to-day living.
