This year’s shortlist for Hospitality and Tourism features an inspiring lineup of projects:

• William Inglis Hotel Solar Energy by The William Inglis Hotel

William Inglis Hotel contracted Smart Commercial Solar to design and install a tailored rooftop solar system. .jpg — The William Inglis Hotel, a 144-room boutique hotel in Warwick Farm, NSW, is part of the Accor Hotel Gallery Collection.

• The Silos Accomodation by Cooee Architecture

The Silos Accommodation is a bucket list experience..jpg — This project is driven by user experience and environmental sustainability.

• Crop Fitzroy by Olaver Architecture

Olaver focused on using local, recycled, and rapidly renewable materials wherever possible..jpg — From the beginning, the practice wanted the design to reflect the same values as the food offering, honest, thoughtful, and low-impact.

• Kavillo Studios by Cameron Anderson Architects

Kavillo Studios are a luxury tourism accommodation project located in Mudgee NSW.jpg — The built form of Kavillo studios aims to recreate the essence of camping with a roof that forms a tent like structure draping over the internal program.

These projects exemplify excellence in Hospitality and Tourism, celebrating projects that help create locally owned business and employment opportunities, environmentally friendly operations, education and awareness programs, energy and resource conservation, and waste & carbon dioxide reduction.

Now in its 19th year, the Sustainability Awards is Australia’s longest-running and most prestigious program celebrating excellence in sustainable design and architecture. On 19 November 2025, winners across 18 categories will be announced at the five-star Gala Evening at Sydney Town Hall.

The same day, the Sustainability Summit at The Fullerton Hotel, Sydney, and streamed online, offers a day-long CPD program led by industry experts to educate and inspire the Australian architecture and design community.
