The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) has released the program for its seventh annual conference, TRANSFORM. Taking place over two days at Hilton Sydney, and online, on the 19th and 20th of March 2025 — TRANSFORM is GBCA’s flagship event that brings together the built environment sector for pioneering panels, presentations and keynotes that inform and drive industry action.

After an exciting 2024 conference, TRANSFORM 2025 is set to bring together experts and industry leaders to tackle key challenges in the built environment. With nine focused breakout sessions, you’ll gain practical insights and real solutions you can apply straight away.

Join 500+ attendees in Sydney for two days of engaging talks and discussions, covering everything from cutting carbon emissions to protecting nature and improving existing buildings. International and local speakers will share ideas to help shape a more sustainable future.

An exciting new pre-conference event will kick off TRANSFORM this year with an immersive day of innovation. The pre-conference Innovation Forum on the 18th of March will explore potential emerging technologies including the latest in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation and how they are driving sustainability.

TRANSFORM 2025 builds on 22 years of leadership and advocacy by GBCA, driving progress in nature and biodiversity, green finance, embodied carbon, and circularity in the built environment. This year, it will also be a launchpad for new guidance on circular procurement and insightful reports on waste to bolster the business case for Green Star.
