Situated on the Calder Highway, 130km N of Melbourne, and part of the Jock Comini Memorial Rest Area (Jock was a local councillor/Shire President, CFA Member, member of the Loddon Campaspe Regional Planning Authority and founding member of the Calder Highway Improvement Committee), these welcoming facilities constructed by Commercial Building & Property Services and opened in late 2018 for motorists, are a step forward by VicRoads in ensuring that modern, well designed, maintained and eco-friendly rest stops are provided to enhance the motoring experience of travellers on this very busy stretch of highway.
As part of the toilet fit-out, Verde Solutions “Mighty” Hand Dryers in Brushed Stainless Steel were supplied via Access Hardware, and installed due to their appearance & robustness, high performance along with ultimately a long-life expectation of trouble-free usage.
