This beautiful home in Melbourne’s inner suburbs, thoughtfully curated by Hunter & Ivy Interior Designers, is a house anyone would instantly feel at home in; renovated over the years, the latest upgrade was done in partnership with Tab & Co Builders (2016 - 2017). Methven had the privilege of supplying the award-winning Aio range to add to the comfort of this home.
A literal labour of love, this heritage listed property received continued attention and steady improvement from 2009 onwards. Careful to adhere to and respect the heritage of this house, the exterior was carefully refurbished and details such as 3.2m high ceilings remained. However the interior is unashamedly modern, with the kitchen being the heart of the home. The goal was to create a family space, which was open and would connect seamlessly to the large rear garden entertaining area.
Amongst the most recent improvements to the house was the addition of a luxurious ensuite.
Both main and ensuite bathrooms feature the Aurajet Aio shower collection with the ensuite boasting the pinnacle of showering experience, the Twin Shower System in full chrome. The organic round curves of the Aio collection stand in stark contrast to the sharp square styled surrounds, making an instant impact in this white and black modern bathroom.
Aurajet Aio continues to be the focal point in the main bathroom where envious guests can also experience the amazing patented Aurajet spray. The main bathroom is a fun, welcoming space with bright and colourful wallpaper designs, herringbone tiles and a handcrafted wooden shower bench seat. Accompanying the Aio Rail Shower is the Methven Maku shower mixer.
This welcoming, thoughtful design continues throughout the rest of the home. Purposely built to be lived in and enjoyed by family and friends in comfort.
