HPM and Legrand are inspiring thousands of homeowners and renovators to ‘Rethink Electrical’ by partnering with Network 10’s new renovation show, The Home Team.

Through the interior and exterior transformation of a 1950s double-brick home in suburban Melbourne, The Home Team aims to provide viewers with DIY, design and landscaping advice to help navigate their next small project or major renovation.

HPM and Legrand electrical products will feature across 14 room renovation segments and six 30-second fast fact segments, which will educate consumers about various elements of residential electrical design including intercoms, LED lighting, switches and powerpoints, USB powerpoints, dimmers, extraction fans, home automation, outdoor entertaining and garden lighting.

Liane Norman, communication and advertising manager, HPM Legrand explains that The Home Team is a practical and wide-reaching opportunity for HPM and Legrand’s ‘Rethink Electrical’ campaign, which aims to encourage consumers to think beyond the simple light switch to consider how their home’s electrical design can enrich daily life through design, convenience, comfort, safety and energy savings.

HPM and Legrand’s ‘Rethink Electrical’ campaign will be supported by social media platforms and online video content to provide consumers with more information about the range of electrical fixtures and fittings available from the leading electrical brands. The renovation show’s episodes are available online for renovators to review and find out more about specific products installed.

HPM Legrand’s partnership with The Home Team is expected to increase awareness of HPM and Legrand’s products and drive consumer interest and demand. It will also lift the profile of residential electrical design and products to benefit the broader electrical industry.

On air until mid-January 2015, The Home Team is broadcast Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 4pm, with repeat episodes on ONE HD each night, and Network 10 the following morning and Saturday afternoons at 3pm. Episodes are available on demand at www.tenplay.com.au.
