Weathertex is a completely Australian made timber cladding range that offers several advantages in a wide range of application environments.

All Weathertex products are made in Australia from PEFC-certified state forest or private hardwoods without any chemical additives. Comprising of 97% hardwood timber and 3% natural wax for water repellence with no artificial glues, resins, formaldehydes or silicas, Weathertex weatherboards are guaranteed not to rot, split or crack for 25 years.

Weathertex’s product range has a better-than-zero carbon footprint, making it a popular choice among architects, residential builders, home renovators and commercial construction companies.

Since all sugars and starches are removed, Weathertex timber cladding is also termite-resistant. Weathertex boards can be installed by a single person using standard woodworking tools.

The product range includes Classic, Primelok, Selflok, Weathergroove and Natural in three finishes - Ruff Sawn, Smooth and Woodsman.

When supplied in its natural form, the Weathertex range can be left to age over time to get a natural look similar to timber; alternatively it can be sealed. The pre-primed range can be painted by customers in any colour using exterior grade 100% acrylic or solvent-based paints.
