KWA Blinds selected the Silverscreen 205 G1 fabric from Verosol Australia for their motorised roller blinds installed at Barangaroo Tower 3 in Sydney.
Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners for Lendlease, the building located at 200 Barangaroo Avenue stands 168 metres tall and offers flexible and modern workspaces across its 39 levels. The glass façade on Tower 3 required a sustainable solution for solar control to ensure comfort for occupants, regardless of the weather outside.
Verosol’s Silverscreen 205 Semi Transparent fabric in Dark Grey colour was selected for the roller blinds. The fabric also complied with the requirements of Tower 3’s 6 Star Green Star rating awarded by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).
Manufactured with a thermal and reflective aluminium backing, Silverscreen 205 G1 fabric was specified for its high solar reflectance, achieving an impressive 76-78% outside reflection and providing a highly sustainable, flame retardant and energy efficient solution.
