Sunmaster Australia  offer the following tips on maintaining and caring for PVC blinds.

Harsh chemicals should be avoided when cleaning pvc blinds as they may affect the material. A weak soap solution diluted in warm water will clean the PVC effectively. The blind should then be rinsed with clean water and dried with a cloth. Depending on the climate and proper maintenance, a tinted or clear pvc blind can be expected to last for 5-10 years.

PVC absorbs water which can appear as cloudy residue. To assist removal of the residue, a dry cloth may be used to soak up surface moisture and exposure to sunlight will also assist.

Sunmaster PVC blinds are treated with UV inhibitors to protect against ultraviolet rays, helping to prolong the life of the material. PVC blinds that are tinted or clear can appear firm in cool climates and exhibit rippling or bagginess in warmer environments.
