Studco Building Systems proudly announces that a range of EZ Concept and Resilmount products have been licenced by Australian Made Campaign Limited.

Australian Made logo

The Australian Made Campaign has accredited EZ Concept and Resilmount products to use the iconic green and gold kangaroo logo. Since 1986, Studco has continually worked towards being the premier manufacturer and supplier of the Australian construction industry. Having manufactured building systems domestically for the past 36 years, Studco is passionate about keeping manufacturing jobs in Australia and supporting local suppliers. Embodying this goal are the 100+ dedicated employees currently in Studco’s Australian workforce around the country.

Studco operates nationally with the Studco head office and manufacturing plant based in Victoria, and warehouses in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. Touchpoints around the nation provide the capacity to effectively work with customers in all states. Not content to just be a part of the Australian building landscape, Studco takes great pride in the homegrown manufacturing that allows it to be proactive in shaping the future of Australian construction.

“Being a certified partner of the Australian Made campaign is an exciting step in Studco’s development. This feels like a natural next step in recognising the importance of being an Australian manufacturer proudly serving the Australian construction industry,” Studco Australia COO Andrew Meese said.

The Australian Made range covers a wide range of products sold under the EZ Concept and Resilmount brands. The refined finish of EZ Concept architectural systems is predicated on using Australian BlueScope Steel, whilst Resilmount represents a host of sound isolation clips constructed from locally sourced materials.

What is the Australian Made campaign?

The Australian Made campaign recognises companies and their goods/services made in Australia. This promotion of Australian goods is a highly regarded stamp-of-approval given the strict criteria required to use its logo. The Australian Made Campaign Ltd (AMCL) accounts for the manufacturing, packaging, and distribution of goods prior to reaching the customer.

How this relates to Studco

Studco remains respectful and proud to be part of the Aussie culture. The communities Studco serves and interacts with, the land on which Studco works, these form the foundation that enables Studco to be what it is. Operations at all branches throughout the country are informed by an appreciation of, and support for the Australia economy.

Studco’s success has been built through connections across the country. Studco works with an ever-growing number of distributors in line with the company’s growth. Close-knit relationships with major players in the country’s construction field have resulted in countless Australian landmarks – these are the relationships that make Australia home to Studco.

Aussie responsibility

Being a member of the Australian community extends well beyond business. Studco applies this principle to the corporate social responsibility it holds.

Funding contributions have been put towards the Rapid Relief Team Ltd (RRT) who do fantastic work around the nation – responding to national crises including drought relief to farmers, Victorian bushfires and many more. Regarding internal practices, responsibility begins with the caring for internal staff in their personal and career development. Responsibility is also undertaken in sustainable practices as an ISO14001:2015 certified company. Indicative of this are the regular reviews of supply chain methodology to reduce waste and the use of recyclable raw materials in manufacturing.

Each of these practices underpins Studco’s ideals as a corporate citizen.

Looking forward

From here on, relevant products from Studco will proudly be labelled with the Australian Made logo. This is a keystone in Studco’s ongoing relationship with the Australian market and groundwork to build upon in the future.
