The ROCKCOTE Design Centre in Nerang has been completely refurbished to showcase the company’s latest interior and exterior finishes with new render looks, textures, paints and contemporary colours. Created as a one stop design shop for interior and exterior render, texture and paint finishes, the ROCKCOTE Design Centre is a hub of inspiration for homeowners, architects, designers and trade professionals on the Gold Coast.
Senior interior designer Zoe Milburn who led the extensive revamp, explained that the ROCKCOTE Design Centre was created to make finish and product selection easy and inspiring for everyone, from the home renovator to professionals. Designed for comfort and beauty, the ROCKCOTE Design Centre is recognised nationally and internationally for excellence in sustainable architecture and design.
Design highlights of the latest refurbishment include room set displays and custom-made furniture to showcase and lift awareness of the beautiful natural materials; eco-friendly design elements including a striking water feature at the entrance, which is part of the building's natural air conditioning system; and product display areas complete with texture samples and touch screens for an interactive experience.
Visitors to the centre can also relax with a freshly brewed coffee or organic tea in the showroom café.
Rockcote Enterprises Co-owners and Directors Bob and Chris Cameron recently celebrated the centre’s refurbishment with a special onsite event attended by more than 80 important guests from around Australia, including executives from collaborative partners Laminex, Halifax Vogel Group, Caesarstone and Reece.
Ms Cameron, who was honoured last year by the Housing Industry Association of Australia, acknowledged the contribution of Ms Milburn to the transformation of the centre and said that the stunning, expansive space is dedicated to helping customers select the right products for their project, with large scale samples, creative room sets and complimentary, personalised service.
ROCKCOTE’s toxin-free paints, textures, renders, render systems and natural finishes for residential and commercial use have been a feature of many high-profile building projects on the Gold Coast, including Metricon Stadium and the Athletes Village for the Commonwealth Games.
The ROCKCOTE Design Centre is open from Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.00pm.
Complimentary half hour design or colour consultations are available with the resident qualified interior designer (advance bookings are essential).
